Inxtinct Learning Terms of Use

Last updated: 19 October 2026

1. What these terms cover

Inxtinct Learning is an online cybersecurity training platform provided by Inxtinct Ltd (“Inxtinct”, “we”, “us” or “our”). It enables organisations to make courses and training activities available to their employees and other authorised learners, including learning materials added by the organisation itself.

These Terms of Use apply to organisational administrators and learners. They supplement, but do not replace, the customer's annual subscription agreement and any applicable data processing agreement. Where they conflict, the applicable customer agreement takes precedence for that organisation.

2. Organisational access

Inxtinct Learning is provided to organisations rather than sold to individual consumers. An organisation decides who is authorised to use the platform and what training to assign. Authorised users may include employees and other learners approved by the organisation, regardless of industry or age, subject to applicable law and the organisation's responsibilities.

Users must access only accounts and content for which they have permission. Administrators are responsible for managing authorised learners and assignments within the organisation.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

Keep login credentials secure, do not share access with unauthorised people, and report suspected account compromise to your organisation's administrator or [email protected].

Do not attempt to bypass access controls, access another organisation's information, interfere with the service, upload malware, unlawfully obtain information, or copy and redistribute licensed platform content without permission.

4. Training content and activities

The platform may include Inxtinct-provided courses, video-based lessons, exercises, quizzes, scenario-based learning and other educational materials. Organisations may also upload and assign their own content. The courses and capabilities available to a particular user depend on the organisation's configuration and agreement.

Training completion is an educational record, not a guarantee of security, regulatory compliance or professional certification.

5. Learner progress and administrator visibility

Inxtinct Learning records relevant account details, training assignments, learner progress, completion status and assessment activity. Authorised administrators at the learner's organisation can view each learner's course progress and whether training has been completed. Additional assessment information may be available where the relevant feature is used.

The organisation controls training assignments and is responsible for explaining how it uses learner information internally, subject to applicable data protection and employment law. Please direct questions about mandatory training and internal use of results to your organisation.

6. Organisation-provided materials

An organisation may upload its own policies, courses or other learning materials. It is responsible for ensuring it has the necessary rights and lawful basis to provide those materials and assign them to users. Organisations retain their rights in the material they provide and authorise Inxtinct to host and deliver it as required to provide the contracted service.

Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights or contains information the organisation is not authorised to use within the platform.

7. Platform and content ownership

Inxtinct and its licensors retain rights in the Inxtinct Learning platform and Inxtinct-supplied content. Authorised users receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use it for their organisation's permitted training activities during their authorised access period. No ownership of the underlying software or content is transferred.

8. Annual contracts and payments

Inxtinct Learning is made available under annual agreements with organisations. Organisations do not make payments through the LMS itself. Contract prices, invoices, renewal arrangements and any other commercial terms are addressed in the organisation's written agreement with Inxtinct.

9. What happens when a contract ends

At the end of an organisation's contract, Inxtinct immediately disables platform access and revokes all learner and administrator licences for that organisation.

Under Inxtinct's current operational process, learner records and related customer information are retained after access ends until the organisation makes an authorised manual deletion request. An authorised organisation representative may request deletion by emailing [email protected].

The customer's data processing agreement and applicable data protection law govern any required return or deletion of personal data when the contract ends. Inxtinct will follow legally required instructions and obligations; the operational practice described above does not override them. This includes any required controller choice between return and deletion and any lawful exception for retained records.

10. Privacy and data protection

Please see our Privacy Policy. For learner records processed on behalf of a customer organisation, the organisation ordinarily acts as controller and Inxtinct acts as processor under the relevant data processing arrangements. Inxtinct Learning is hosted on AWS infrastructure in London, UK, although other service providers may process limited business or technical data in other locations.

11. Security and service changes

Inxtinct may perform updates, maintenance or security work to protect and improve the platform. We may restrict accounts where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or suspected serious misuse. Any contractual service-level or support promises are those agreed with the organisation, not implied by these Terms.

12. Liability and training outcomes

Inxtinct Learning supports education and awareness; it does not replace an organisation's technical security controls or legal and compliance obligations. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability and remedies relating to paid subscriptions are governed by the applicable customer agreement and law.

13. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms and publish a revised date. Changes affecting contracted rights will be dealt with under the applicable customer agreement. The Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory law and the applicable customer agreement.
